This course will be taught in English and aims to create space for dialog about translation with emerging translators of all language pairs. Students of all signed and written languages are warmly invited! Translation goes to the movies combines the magic of learning about main concepts in translation theory as seen through the lens of cinema with the fun of hands-on work into and out of English. We add in a good dose of practical, profession-driven information, exposing you to theory, practice, and the realities of working as a language professional. In person, Wednesday nights from 6 to 8:45 pm. Please send any questions to melissa.wallace@utsa.edu.
